Ollie's 4 month check-up shows his development progressing on a nice arc. He's in the 70th percentile for height, weight, and head size. Height is 25 1/2 inches, head size is 16 3/4, and weight 15 lbs and 13oz. He has rolled over a total of 5 times but isn't terribly interested in tummy time so hasn't rolled over since the day he discovered he could do it. He has good head control and good social skills, despite his parents. :D
We are loving the weather turning nicer, although it's thunderstorming today, because we've gotten to go out on many expotitions in the stroller. Even riding in the car is nicer now that he's bigger and can look around! And since he's past two months we don't have to be so careful about where we go. It's so much fun to watch him discover things like "Hey, I have ears!" and "I can squawk louder than an air raid siren, listen!" We are now THAT family when we go to BJs because Ollie likes to squawk in the big space and all the other babies, say "Hey! That looks fun! I want to do that too!" Luckily at 4 months, most people seem to think it's a very cute thing for him to shout and squeal. We sure do. :D
More posts are sure to follow as Ollie starts in on his jam packed schedule for this spring and summer!
